#BEDM - 1st: What is your blog all about?

Over the last year or so on Twitter, before I started this blog, I'd seen lots of people using the #BEDM and #BEDN hashtags, as they joined in with Rosalilium's challenge to try to write a blog post every day for the whole month.  I loved finding new blogs by using the hashtag, and when I started this blog last Christmas I secretly hoped this #BEDM would happen again so I could join in!

As soon as I saw it I joined up, and here I am, ready to go!

Today's question (there's a question, theme, or idea provided for each day) is what is your blog all about?

I'm still quite new to this, just finding my feet, and I'm not sure my blog has a 'voice' yet in the way that many others do.  But then again, it's my blog, so it's my voice, my little space on (in?) the internet.  So far, looking back through my posts, it's mainly been about Girlguiding, crochet, baking, and a sort of diary, almost, of what I've been getting up to.  It's made me take more photos, using a real camera not just the one on my phone, and I've stopped relying solely on other people to take photos!

So in essence, I'd say my blog is about me, what I get up to, with a focus on the things about which I am passionate, namely Girlguiding, crocheting, reading and most importantly doing the things I love with the people I love.
Baking happiness :-)

    1. Thank you! One of the benefits of being a Brownie leader :-) and aren't books just the best thing?

    2. Books are DEFINITELY the best thing! You can get so much out of them. It always baffles me when people are proud they don't read, I really don't get that

    3. I firmly believe it's important for everyone to read, especially children, even if the book is at a 'lower' reading level at least they're reading for pleasure! When I'm on public transport, or waiting at airports, that sort of thing, I always wonder what the people who aren't reading are doing...what a waste of time! You can only people watch for so long!

    4. Ya, I totally agree! My Dad doesn't read a lot of books or anything, he's not a 'reader' however he does read the newspaper and enjoys that and I think even something as small as that can count. Ya, I don't get people who don't use long stretches like that to do something. I'll either read or listen to a podcast (sometimes music if I just want to sleep), but either way I always enjoy using that time for something useful and to learn something new

    5. Travelling and having to wait around is the main reason I bought a Kindle, I bought it before I went to India and it was quite a novelty not having to weigh my luggage down with books...just load up the Kindle and I was ready to go!
